I think I like several things about my coaching experience. One, it feels very personal, in the sense that I am spoken to in a way that engages me and makes sense to me. It would be hard if someone coached me without getting to know me, and I feel like my therapist does a very good job of tailoring her advice to me and my situation. It makes it easier to implement! Secondly, the amount of care and detail in the notes and the active listening is really appreciated, as feeling heard and then having someone brainstorm actionable steps with you and write them down is great. Thirdly, I like how there's a method and a direction to progress, without me feeling constrained to a timeline. It's nice. Fourthly, my therapist helped me with my procrastination, I saw tangible results where I got 9.2/10 in my Statistics exam!

The six sessions I had with Albert were eye-opening in multiple ways. He was fairly professional, was actively listening, and provided me with tools and great pieces of advice regarding my problems. At the very beginning of my first sessions I was reminded that my feelings mattered, no matter how 'crazy' I thought they were. The validation was important and it's something that I truly appreciate.
My coach was always on time during all our sessions and I also would like to appreciate that. Most of our sessions felt like being gently nudged to something that I knew or wanted and that made everything almost easy.
There were 'assignments' that made the whole experience fun because I had to think about these things outside of therapy and 'inside' my life which was interesting. I especially likes these assignments because then therapy wasn't something I clocked into and out after 45 minutes. It enabled me to think about the techniques and actually apply them in my life which was good and helpful and I think quite important.
I've had such fantastic experience overall-y and super grateful to have gotten Vishala Baddi as my coach!

Three months ago, I was completely hopeless, disoriented and wasn't even able to do my daily tasks and my mind and body was filled with negative thoughts(even suicidal thoughts) and anxiety.I was not even able to focus for even fifteen minutes.
But now, after the ten sessions with Chrys, I made a lot progress.From fixing my sleep schedule to manage the stress of heavy workload and building a new week schedule,I learned to calm the anxiety and to manage the negative thoughts and emotions and Now I am focused on my goals and on my upcoming exam.I learned a lot of things with my coach such as to deal with things which are out of our control and how to deal with those situations.
My coach was always there to listen to me and help me even between our session.I used to share my problems on email to my coach sometimes in between the sessions which I liked the most.
For me, it was truly an amazing experience because I have an upcoming exam and demanding months and before I felt hopeless and suicidal because of the past events. Now I am completely changed, I am oriented and focused and all this is possible because Chrys and her guidance.

Zane was extremely easy to work with. I was surprised how quickly we were able to build a rapport, as this was my first therapy experience. In particular, I felt like Zane excelled in two areas. First, he was able to effectively tailor his communication style for working with me. (Well, maybe he communicates this way with everyone, but either way, I felt like it worked, either way!) Second, he was good at crafting theories and raising them to me, even pushing me a bit when I needed it. It was nice to have someone comfortable communicating like that in a direct fashion.
In our later sessions, sometimes our discussions were a bit too focused on specific solutions, in my opinion. I partially brought the conversation there, but at the same time I feel like Zane was most effective with me when helping me realize that I was viewing work vs. free time as a trade-off, and thinking about how comfortable I was with how I prioritized different aspects of my life. The actual solutions were less important to me.

She was able to make me feel safe. Everything I say is heard and understood. As a result, I was able to quickly open up emotionally and also talk about difficult and conflict-laden topics. She asked good questions and linked events and content from other sessions. I was able to recognize patterns in my behavior, beliefs and thinking, but also events where I have already achieved changes. This is what made the sessions so valuable. I was given “homework” that brought me closer to my values and boundaries. I was able to see and understand what is important to me and where I want to protect myself.
She encouraged me to keep going and to continue working on myself, to allow emotions. She made me realize what resilience and inner strength means and how much of it I already have. I realized how far I have already come and that many things have already changed for the better for me. I have found a new perspective on many things in my life; first and foremost on myself.
